FALL REGISTRATION:  MSHSL TEAMS/INDEPENDENT PROVIDERS |  SmartSchoolK12
PonyIn order to adhere to the MSHSL framework, and requirements for safety, adjustments will be made to the Fall 2020-2021 season.  Work is being done at SAHS to best prepare for our student athletes.  Competition and practice schedules for all teams will be different than in the past.  Please continue to check this website for team specific information and updates.

Before attempting to register:  Access your student(s) in Skyward, using Family Access:  
  • To verify Student ID#:  Click on Student Info or Select Student Google Login.  
  • To verify last SQPE date:  Click on Report Cards/Portfolia.  Select Sports Physical.

Note:   Information from the MSHSL regarding the fall season is expected to be announced during the first week of August and will be posted on our website.

What MSHSL Teams and Independent Provider Activities are Offered in the Fall?  Please see complete listing below.

What is required to participate?  Academic Eligibility.  A copy of MSHSL Sports Qualifying Physical Exam on file in the SAHS Activities Office.  (Sports Only).  Completed registration via SmartSchoolK12.

How do I submit my SQPE Form?  Scan and send to:  delahuntj@stillwaterschools.org or Fax:  651.351.8033

How often do I need a SQPE?  Sports Qualifying Physical Exams are good for three years from the date of the exam.    The exam may not expire during the season for which you are registering.  (A Well Child Check is not considered a SQPE.)

When are Tryouts?  Is there a Tryout Fee?  Not all Pony teams hold tryouts.  Tryouts cannot be held prior to the first day of the season.  Currently, a tryout fee is not charged.

Do I get a refund if I am cut from a team?  Yes.  Electronic refunds will be issued.  The account used when registering will be credited.

Is there a registration deadline?  We request that you complete your registration at least 24 hours prior to the first day of your season.  According to MSHSL rules, to be varsity eligible, you must register by the 4th Monday of the season. Tryout Sports:  Individual coaches may not accept athletes after tryouts have started.

Return to Participation for Adapted Soccer will be addressed through collaborative planning with the Minnesota Adapted Athletics Association and the MSHSL. Additionally, Return to Participation for all MSHSL Category II activities will be determined through activity specific planning and will be in alignment with the Return to Learning Plan provided by MDE.

Volleyball and Football will be played in the new Spring Season.  Additional information will be posted as it becomes available.
