Additional Information:  Cheerleading is a sport that provides a great deal of benefits for participants. It requires athleticism, strength, flexibility, and coordination to participate successfully in the sport. With its great physical rewards, cheer is also a social, team-based activity that can help boost self-confidence and leadership skills.  SCVAA
provides a cheerleading program for high school students at SAHS to compliment the football program. Cheerleaders will be given high quality instruction from experienced cheer coaches through SCVAA.

The SCVAA/SAHS Cheerleaders will cheer at SAHS football games, be a part of the SCVAA organization, and participate in any appropriate school and community events. The cheerleaders will uphold and maintain all student and athlete code of conduct set forth by SAHS and SCVAA. Varsity lettering is available for cheerleading according to the lettering standards set forth by the high school and the cheerleading program.

Note: This is an Independent Provider Activity, not a Stillwater Area High School MSHSL Sport. An Independent Provider is defined as an individual, group or organization that provides an opportunity for Stillwater Area High School students to participate in an extra-curricular program.
